"We could be friends, you know."
I loved that line. I loved the way the kid delivered it. It made so much sense right then and there and still remained obviously impossible. But I am hoping for a happy ending - eventually.
Took the toddlers to see Last Airbender. We enjoyed it plenty, the setting and the action and the story and the dancing and the magic and the ridiculous mount :) Also the Avatar boy's staff that turns into a kite, and of course Dev Patel. Pleasure to watch Jackson Rathbone again. It had such pooooor reviews I was expecting something among the ranks of Eclipse or Clash of the Titans, but it wasn't boring or annoying at all. Not THE masterpiece of the summer, but certainly well worth the popcorn shells stuck in my gums :P
