That is a very brave thing to say to your wife when she's two days away from menstruating.

The General and I often discuss what it would be like to go to war. Perhaps because these days every other self-righteous idiot with his finger on a trigger of a nuclear bomb seems interested in starting one for economic benefits and the worst seems imminent, but - even as it would such royaly for obvious reasons - I think perhaps we were both sort of designed for it. We both feel best in the worst of conditions. This every-day nothingness, scaping to get by just to be normal is killing us. But then again he would say things like: I don't want to go to war with you. Why?! Because I don't want to end up in Haag for associating with a weapon of mass destruction!!?
