In my ambition to elevate the quality (and price range) of my portraits, I've started on the Lumen Project - my avedonian framing and lighting of sitters, chosen not so much for their prettiness as for their interesting features or whatever. I want my first subject to be dad, who really has a face of a good-natured biblical dictator, but I don't want this to be so easy - old men and bum ladies, which a retard can do. As always I've started on an inanimate object with character. :D The Dorimu Mini Me. Still a few kinks to work on.
Next stop - dad. If I can tie him down for long enough.
