General, talking about city origins

"Basically, Celje (Roman Celeia and where I am from) was a metropolis while Maribor (medieval Marchburch, a march castle) was still just two mud huts with straw roofs?"
"Pretty much. Celeia was massive back in the day."
"What about Rifnik?" (In St.George, where he comes from.)
"Rifnik dates pretty much as far back as there was human migration."
"So, when Rifnik was hot shit, Celeia wasn't even a dog hut yet, it was just a dog tied to a scrawny plum tree in the middle of the field?"

Love talking archeology with him. He gets it :D
