(It was a DHL operator and of course it was a pointless, frustrating and predictably futile dialogue, as she informed me again of the prices which I have since negotiated down to a manageable amount. Guess not. How shocking.). I was even put on hold and had to listen to bad music for a few minutes.

Can't remember the last time I talked to someone I didn't know, on the phone. I know there was a missed call from an unknown number the other day and I freaked out completely. Ah, well. Small victories.
