The Umbra exhibit opening

Nea asked me to cover the exhibition set-up for an art school she loved as a child.. It took place in the Museum of recent history, kids department... Which can be a spooky place, as I am not very fond of dolls... I always worry that if many dolls are watching me, their heads will start turns after me, when I cross the room...

The museum stuff:

The prep stuff:

The opening:

The afterparty:

Seeing photographs of the past I still remember is like watching someone I love walk away on the other end of a long street...
'Recent history' museums are starting to freak me out...

Had a cool first reading. At least I thought it was cool, because it feels so weird having other people read your thoughts :D Maybe the text is too much of a prose narrative and maybe I could add another twist or accentuate one of the already there, but for tonight, I feel energized. I have two really nasty ambitions regarding this play. It's important I don't fuck them up with the foundation - the writing. I can do this. I want to do this. I want to see how far I can get, pushing for dangerous ambition, skipping several steps at a time. Aiming very high seems to be the only way I get to really question the quality of my contribution.

This one makes no sense, I know, it's taken mistakenly, but I just love it anyways...
