Countdown to printing Gorgi

I am having such a separation anxiety ... And I know what it is and I know why it's happening and I know how to handle it and I know how long it lasts and what comes next ... But I am having SUCH a separation anxiety.

I've spent countless hours working on this book, hundrets if not thousands, having drank dozens and dozens of coffee (often with whipped cream ... and an occasional chocolate pie slice. With whipped cream.). It's been edited, re-edited, re-re-edited back to an almost full circle... The home-printed pages (and there are many) look like a hysterical school essay assignment - green for grammar changes, violet for style update, yellow for the missing cursive + pencil side notes of stuff to be added later still... 

I can easily comb through it again. For every book I read or movie I see, I have another view of it... 

Couple more days. Come on. I can do this. I can stop fiddling it up. I know I can. Come on.

Today I stood in the middle of the field in fog and it was such a tranquil, such a pale moment that I felt completely alone in the whole world. In fact it felt as if there was no world at all. I even sent the dog away and she vanished after a few meters. Just vanished. there were no people, no sounds, no shadows, no light. Just me. It's been a while since I felt so perfect. I just stood there, with an urge to get naked and hold my breath, unblinking. That actually felt really, really good.
          (Then I got worried the dog will get lost and called her back. But it was okay. We just walked around for an hour, hardly meeting anyone.)

All in all it was excellent fun! Also, sis brought a load of cookies, so no matter what it wouldn't have been all horrid :P

Opening the box of acrylics...

I really, really, really suck painting anything (illustration being my forte), but I certainly love to do it. As it turns out :D I broke open the gift box of the acrylic paint I got recently and tapped it on a carton board with a sponge. Pointillism NOT my strong side. I'll be testing some other stuff when i actually get some canvases.. Which, knowing my inertia, will be soon.
