Really? Really?

Wonder Woman... That is what is considered a good movie these days? Really? With the cartoonish characters, zero story, dialogue designed for 10-year old boys, "war is bad we must fight for peace" narrative and really REALLY bad CGI? 93% on Rotten Tomatoes? SAVING PRIVATE RYAN HAS 92%!! Are you fucking kidding me?

Fangirling...

Wednesday, 7 June 2017

In the mood for classics ... :p
Reading Nabokov's poems,
Listening to Liszt,
Watching clips from Good Will Hunting,
and replaying best bits of YoungTurks election coverage... Oh, the burn. The burn.

Brushes OD

While trying to fix my brushes OD issue, getting some of them back WITHOUT messing up the Photoshop, I'm doodling, making character posters for the gang... I could do this all day if, you know, THE FUCKING BRUSHES WEREN'T DIVORCING MY PHOTOSHOP!....

Morpheus

Fidi

 Kay

Cole

Hydeo

The General

Kestrel

Marowit

The Orc

......aaaaand of course I've managed to fuck something up and erase all of my brushes. All. All of them. (They were many. May they rest in the vast vacuum of my skull..)

... Because why would someone keep the brush files in a back-up copy once they've already been loaded onto the Photoshop.

Aaaaaaand we're down to 3-level shading... Which I no longer like. But I got to it, so, bye bye now.

Kay builds Morphei Cliffcave, his new house. She uses sand and limestone found at the shore he made for himself, and she makes it half-cave, as that is where he grew up in, a cave, and is fond of them. Cliffcave is great, though; I designed it nigh a decade ago and I still love it. There are no doors, no windows, it's very small, five or so half rooms, with a long thin swimming poor and a revolver-mobile library.

The car, Red King's old B.Continental, in truth is fairly battered by now, having been backed into a shop window and an ocean at some point, respectively, but I didn't have the heart to hurt it here :D

"Tonight your king has sword for heart..."

So, as a return of a favour, in the early pages of the second part of Goose, an old Chinese guy tells Kay that somewhere during his re-instatement (his rescue/resurrection), Morpheus actually lost it and ate his own sword, replacing the heart. Though Morph later regrets this and changes his mind, half of the book is Kay trying to make sure his dark side doesn't take over completely.
Here Morpheus is more how I see him, the twisted version of the antique character, but, you know... I've brough the shading down to 5. Two to go. Go me :D
