Sanja and Jakob, the biiiig blaaaack dog :)

Maruša. Jumping :D

The General and I often discuss what it would be like to go to war. Perhaps because these days every other self-righteous idiot with his finger on a trigger of a nuclear bomb seems interested in starting one for economic benefits and the worst seems imminent, but - even as it would such royaly for obvious reasons - I think perhaps we were both sort of designed for it. We both feel best in the worst of conditions. This every-day nothingness, scaping to get by just to be normal is killing us. But then again he would say things like: I don't want to go to war with you. Why?! Because I don't want to end up in Haag for associating with a weapon of mass destruction!!?

That is a very brave thing to say to your wife when she's two days away from menstruating.

The alien attack cliche and other serious shit

Aww, come ON! Why are my dreams always so - you have to fight, fight, fight! to keep what you've always wanted? Or maybe I'm just watching way too many alien invasion movies. Take your pick which one bugged me this time: The Faculty? District9? Grey Gardens?
The dream was about a bunch of us, friends, I think it was three married couples, who unexpectedly struck gold with some business. I don’t know what exactly it was, but it suddenly made us surprisingly rich. The downside was, that now some of us (in this case my husband) had to work lot abroad, leaving me home alone, so I would often stop over at this humongous castle-like building (But not like the one in X-men, this one is about fifty years old)  in some sad, old, unkept part of the Hamptons, dreaming about having such a large private school. So, as a surprise, the husband would put all our money in it and give it to me as a gift. At the start of the dream I am just panicking, because of course the school is entirely unfamiliar to everyone and no matter what we do, we only gain 32 students. We only have ten or so teachers, capable as they may be, we employ five cleaning ladies to really make the place shine, because it was abandoned for something like twenty years, we build plastic doors to separate wards and at times lock down entire floors, because there’s no us for them yet… The castle is so large there are plenty nice apartments to chose from – which will later become gym locker rooms – while we try and make do with what we’ve got. And OF COURSE on the very first day aliens invade. Like, what the heck else was I expecting?! So with another friend, one of my professors (I mean one of my friends who is now working for me, not someone who once taught me), we decide to blow cup-fulls of milk powder into the alien faces with a blow-drier, because that’s what seems to melt them. Supposedly some special costly imported baby milk powder is the only potent thing (seriously? Baby food?? Okay, I think we’ve been having way too much reproductive sex lately.), although it looks like pretty white washing machine powder with blue specks. Long story short, there’s running around, looking for the aliens, messing the whole place up. Moral of the story is: be careful what you wish for, because you just my get it and them some fucking creeps will invade and try to ruin everything. MAN the things you have to consider when getting ambitious…

Djimon Hounsou and creepy undead stuff

LoL, you really have to be carefull with the quests you collect from the undead. there's this task, given to you in Hillsbrad Foothills, called "Do the right thing" and you have to take a shovel and deal with the humans burried neck-deep into the garden ground. They're screaming and they're clearly the former residents and their militia (you've dealt with them before. Annoying people.) So you kind of have to whack them over the head and splash their skulls in.... and just as you do that once or twice, you start to think this can't be it and then realize you're supposed to be digging them OUT with that shovel... Whoopsy. The undead and their rotten sense of humor..

PS.
Was looking over some fashion commercials and found these Calvin Klein adds with Djimon Hounsou..

Holy sheeshkebab. I had no idea the guy was this photogenic. I mean, sure, what's not to like about him in the movies, but I just thought he was this dark dude that talks funny, looks menacing and sweats a lot. I had no idea :D

Those i'll never take a portrait of

Matej, R.I.P.
I don't think you'll ever know how some people liked you.

Klara

I can't sleep, the General has a nasty cold and is keeping me up. :( Poor thing. He is like a magnet for every bacteria ever. Me they avoid in fear of sugar poisoning.

Summer's over, bitches

After raining all night (and plenty more where that came from), the temperatures have finally plummeted. Going from flippy-floppies and tank-tops to heavy duty windstoppers and waterproof shoes, umbrellas and raincoats for the photobaggie in a day, autumn has finally arrived in all it's depressing splendor.  On the bright side, shroomies will pop up and we'll hit the woods, but as far as the sunshine goes, I can only hope. I should probably start learning how to take photos in the lack of light or set up the studio. But with the coldness, other things take priority. Such as writing books and making babies ;))
