Finally got my Instagram back, did I mention?

New content!!

I cannot get enough of this comic. These last few pages are amazing. I've been clicking on the refresh button a few days now and nothing, and then, just now - whoosh! A LOAD of novelty. And not just good dicking, either, (though Cat-Man certainly IS hot, in  a David Bowie sort of a lanky way), some plot as well. Not even a 100% certain what's going on. Kudos!

The General finally fixed the new lawnmower dad got, so, in the spirit of loving how freshly cut lawn smells, I rode that bitch up and down the 45' angle estate until my arms were ready to fall off :D (It's not as easy as it looks. Those things were made for neat, artificial and FLAT gardens, not vineyards.)
In the meanwhile, mum and sis were playing a quiz game, them G and I joined and for about an hour - longest family time since I can remember this year - and so sis read random questions and in five seconds we tried to get the answers. Since mum is remarkably good at modern sports and G is good at politics, I am marginally fun at geography, biology and trivia. Mostly, though, I have no idea and just blurt something out :D If I AM certain of an answer, sis clicks the opposite and usually gets the points. Then makes a cynical comment which had us all bending over laughing.
      Good times.

Movies tag game :)

1. "Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man." - The Big Lebowski
Your most unpopular film opinion.
La La Land.  I cannot abide whining by losers who OPT for missing out on life. No matter how well dressed they are and how well they dance.

2. "The limit does not exist." - Mean Girls
A Guilty Pleasure film you can watch over and over again.
Miami Vice. Love the editing on that one, and how very beautiful Gong Li is.

3. "Are you not entertained" - Gladiator
A film that is universally loved that you found boring.
The Notebook. Cannot watch that shit.Followed by most Oscar nominated dramas.

4. " Sorry! My Prada's at the cleaners! Along with my hoodie and my 'fuck you' flip-flops, you pretentious douchebag! " - The Social Network

The most pretentious film you've ever seen.
12 years a slave. What soapy Oscar-baitey bullshit.

5. "Draw me like one of your French girls" - Titanic
A film that describes your aesthetic.
Hummm… hummm… Thst is impossible to say. Impossible. From  Blade Runner to Populaire … Impossible to say.

6. "That's a bingo" - Inglorious Basterds
A director who has never let you down.
Sorry, no such ace. I’ve liked a lot of things by Sofia Coppola, but not all. Though I haven’t seen everything by Paolo Sorrentino, so maybe it’s him.

7. "Don't believe his lies" - Memento.
A film you were told was bad but you loved.
Labyrinth.
hahaha!.. I didn’t even see the next question! :D
8. "It's only forever, not long at all" - Labyrinth
If you could only watch one film for the rest of your life, what would it be?
La Grande Bellezza or Blade Runner

9. "Were you rushing or were you dragging?"
A long film you thought was perfectly paced.
Hm… Well, I do love good long movies. Lord of The Rings, maybe?

10. "As you wish." - The Princess Bride
Your film dream team. (Directors, writers, genre, actors, music, whatever.)
Good question. But that changes. I’ll let you know some day, if they ever opt to film Goose :P

Hehe. Me, learning how to play a guitar is like ... someone learning how to build a wooden temple with a spoon or someone learning how to ride a bike on a single marble. I've sat down and am watching the tutorial by a VERY patient young gentleman and I've gone to wash the dishes, cook, wash the clothes and take the dog for a walk during and STILL I don't get it. How the fuck do you make your fingers all move individually and pretend to know what they're doing? How is that even humanly possible?

Playing Wildstar, planting potatoes, reading Beloved (T. Morrison) and colouring my colouring book :D Good Tuesday.

Monday, 10 April 2017

Though the crappy bug sting on my forearm continues to blister, the day has been beautiful. G and I and the mutt offed early to his parents’ farm to help out. I planted so many potatoes I nigh keeled over during lunch and G scraped/cleaned dozens and dozens beeswax comb frames. The cutest part of it all was Barky, chasing butterflies and having her ball fetched across the vast fields, but mostly digging out the potatoes and bringing them back to me. She is still asleep now, as the day slowly wanes. The problem is draught – though clouds form all the time, nothing falls and for all the perfect sunshine, the soil is pepper and the beets aren’t growing. Supposedly tomorrow there will be storms. That would save the season.
I had frozen whipped cream and dry beetroot/raspberry bars for diner, watching trailers. A good Monday, indeed.

Something stung me :/ ...

...some asshole ant or a very very small bug with little wings. But even as I blew on it to shoo it away, it kept stinging me. Now I have a walnut-sized yellowish-looking knot swelling under my skin. I am sure it didn't stung me with it's rear, so I doubt it's an infestation with some larvae or something (not the climate for it, but my imagination goes there soon enough), but whatever it injected hurts, itches and looks annoying. I also smell of garlic, as I medicate the swelling with half a clove. :/
