My feet beyond blistered, my shoulder pink and burning, neck still stiff like that of a terminator, waaay too much coffee in my blood and I'm running around, as happy as a street dog on a sunny day. There's too much work going on to update everything and we're setting up the gala shoot for tomorrow, preparations revolving mainly around me staring at the box of Mozart Kugeln, contemplating should I spare them for props or just damn devour them for breakfast. It's 4:41 now. I can't sleep and the General has left already also. I'll just watch the ANTop Model some more, before I wake up to full function. Then I'm gonna go clean my new (old) car and hopefully finish the drawing in a hurry, so I won't have to work weekends. So far no news on the book contracts, so I have to focus focus focus on the photies, which continue to bring me bread. If all goes well, the wedding will be in 5 weeks, but who has time to work on that? :p Am looking forward to seeing my friends tomorrow. Somehow, unexpectedly, life is very good these days. I'm blaming the summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't get enough of America's Next Top Model...... I KNOW! I KNOW! It's like the ultimate down, but by God how good some of the lessons are if you're gonna be a photographer! (Or, obviosly, a model.) I absolutely adore the contrast between how plain and ugly some of these sticks are and then how absurdly powerful they become on the pics. Okay, so I imagine that those who have blown the photographer get to bring the good shots and the others don't, but so much is learned from the process, the make-overs, the challenges and lessons, the attitude adjustments. It is almost sad how bad some look when they come from villages, where everyone told them they are the most beautiful, and know not the first thing about the profession of being the center of attention. Jumping on the trampoline with your face remaining graceful, being sick like a camel and still radiating sexyness, being utterly the fish out of water and still mesmerizing the audience.... I just love it. I used to just look at the photos, but now I watch the lot. Good thing there's very many of them :)) Just don't tell anyone O.o

Shows update

In a hurry: lotsa shows are ending for the season and we're all hoping that summer stuff will be just as entertaining. Hey, there's J.J. Abrams somewhere in there. How boring can it be?

Although very very often the before-last episode is the strongest, some of these are coming down just as hard. The Bones season finale was yummy because of *hkhm*yaaaarrr*hkhm* Vos and that Fever Ray song Keep the Streets Empty For Me, a scene in which a sniper is looming (and man can he ever loom!) over the characters in a city and you don't know who's gonna get it, until finally Nigel does and as he's dying, he says 'Don't make me leave'. Booth later explains to Bones he wasn't saying it to her, he was saying it to God. That was sooooo heavy to watch.

Likewise, House was super gory. The camera was sliiiightly to psyched for my taste and that small Jewish dude's issues aren't doing it for me, but house doing his own surgery (AND keeping the leg in the end), on top of some bitch fighting between chase and Thirteen and some cool Cuddy moments, that was a powerful episode. wouldn't want to see all that again...

The Game of Thrones, though not a finalle, deserves a mention, because it has to be said about a show that can still make you feel glad you're in a sofa and not *there*. That brestfeeding throne scene is dist-tur-bing, y'all. Ewww! I surely hope that boob was prostetic, otherwise that boy will be freaked for life. And never have I felt so troubled for anyone as I did for Tyrion. Catelyn is now his only ally. The man is in a super nasty cell. Though, granted, they do offer an easy was... off...
O.o

There's a drop there. There is.
The Killing, though, is not worth the mention. It's becomming messy, like flaining around, let's-throw-everything-into-a-slow-blender messy. :/

The taxes and photoshoots...

Having fired my accountant, it took me a scary month to get myself onto that high horse - but I did do it. Here's what you do, if it just so happens you have the least income-y business ever and still pay pretty penny to have it managed: I was told it takes a lot of money and permits, but it doesn't. It doesn't cost anything. You DON'T need a pro on-line account that costs a load, you DON'T need to get the e-signature at places that charge, because one works for all high-roller accounts and you can get it for free at, say, Tax office. Then you file for authorization statement, cancelling others and naming yourself as your own book-keeper. Then you find a computer genius, or the closest thing, and load the damn e-signature certificate onto your comp. That bit may take a while. say, three or five weeks. Well, okay, only two days, if you do it right the first time and there are no holidays in the meanwhile, but my lesson took longer. But THEN, when you DO have the e-signature loaded and you DO manage to log into the taxes site, you have to find the right form (there are pages that guide you through the first time, so it's real easy by comparison) and into that firm, you type in two numbers. TWO. The hours and another, not sure what it is. And then the site automatically calculates all your monthly tax thingies and that's it. TWO numbers. My accountant had to put TWO numbers into a table and press 'confirm' and then charged me for three hours of work. That alone pissed me off enough to throw myself off the safety ledge and take the reins myself. Once I've learned, I think there shouldn't be anything to it for another year.
Meanwhile I went to bum for a shooting site and actually got it. Yeesh. That was weird, as for once in my life the man knew nothing about me - I dropped zero names, including my own, and almost no smiles. Hah! He told me he is inclined to say no from bad experience - and I just dropped my photos. It did the trick. Hello. :D Now, if all goes well (I hate planning but also I love it for the challenge and experience.) we have a gala shot scheduled in the museum. Ai!

Fuck. I haven't been able to get to my blog in a week. For a while it seemed to be a global mishap, but eventually I figured out that it's my Mozilla. It works fine on other comps and right now it's working fine on Int.Explorer. For some reason I am really annoyed by not being able to check all the blogs I like to check over my morning coffee. But okay, I can settle for the slightest alteration of the routine, as log as the results are adequate... Though I cannot check my spelling on this one... O.o

Wrote bits on napkins meanwhile...
:,((( A million things is going on and I can't get into my blog. I've dyed my hair and managed to burn a nasty portion of my scalp to en extent that I now have scabs the size of raisins…. Ewwwwwwwww. I know! Also, Viserys died. I mean in as far as I have read the book, though not quite yet in the TV edition. He shall be missed. He was a proper 'you'll get yours some day, just wait and see' kind of an arsehole.
I've started hanging out with a musician, violinist, who kicked me a little bit in the right direction towards making fame and money, but me being me of course have an instant instinct to run and hide at the very idea. Instead of stealing her phone and making her dial all the famous people she knows, recommending me, I am now thinking, if I stay down and quiet, she'll soon forget me and I can go on with my simple, pauper life. It's full moon out tonight, by the way. I've had first sex after a week of annoying period and then I had delicious ice-cream. Yarrrrh, and if all goes according to plan, the wedding will be in about five week's time :D I'm calculating four weeks to get everything ready and then about a week to find the General and bring him back to the country :P

Google animations

I love how Google does these incredible little graphics in their title to celebrate the birthday or some such prominent date of people and things, that totally capture your interest. Today is birthday of Martha Graham. Who the F is Martha Graham, you ask? Obviously someone worth knowing about, as her Google title graphic is one of the best I've seen since May 1st - 160. Anniversary of the first World fair. Wiki ten educates that she's the lady who did for dance what Picasso did for art and F.L. Wright did for architecture. Ironically I know or like just as little about dance as I do about music: it looks fun while someone else is doing it. But I Nod and smile none the less :)
