The "History" photoshoot

As badly as things are going in the real worl, the better I think things are going in the lenses. I think. I could just be overwhelmed by the first morning of snow.

This friday's shoot was about characters in history that the girls relate to.
Patricija did Cleopatra (Makeup by Martina Hladin, hair by Maya Kerin, dress by Diana Kotnik Lavtižar), because their femininity and cockiness in a man's world got them far.
Lara did Georgiana Cavendish (Makeup by Apolonija Koštomaj, hair by Maya Kerin), a rich but lonely duchess, who kept her pride and smile in order to provide for her children and ti keep society from every knowing their pain
Kimi did Coco Chanel (Makeup by Andreja Jezernik, hair by Maya Kerin, jacket by Diana Kotnik Lavtižar), a woman of complicated, at times disarming past, who wouldn't bow to rules and created her own standards
Laura did Frida Kahlo, (Makeup by Martina Hladin, hair by Maya Kerin), a pained Mexican paintress with a complicated political, sexual and love life, whose work speaks volumes on her thoughts
Teja did Angelica Kaufmann (Makeup by Tina Teršek, hair by Maya Kerin), progressive neoclassical paintress, who also defied the sexist rules of her own time
Maruša did Jackie O. (Makeup by Tina Teršek, hair by Maya Kerin, coat by Diana Kotnik Lavtižar), a very proud, very politically aware young woman with terrible heartbreak and toll.

Here's the on and behind-the-stage shots :)
